Condolence & Memory Journal

Svoboda Family, I worked with Mike at JJK for 8 years back in the mid-90's & early-2000's. I was in Sales and he was my "estimating guy". I always liked working with him and he was such a great guy and gentle soul. Since leaving JJK in 2004 I would see him around town every so often and he would always stop to chat about work, family, and whatever else was on his mind. Great guy, will be missed. All my thoughts and prayers to your family.

Living in Wausau I met Mike thru my brother Chuck for a few fishing trips including the Mn. houseboat trip. Loved every minute and cherish the memories. Just a great person!

Amy - I'm so sorry to read of your dad's passing. While it has been a very long time, I will always have fond memories of him poking in on us while we were hanging out at your house. The world lost a wonderful person and I hope you find comfort in all of the memories you have of him. Wishing you and your family all the best during this very difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. As a former co-worker, I found Mike always had kind words and a big smile that came easily. He was a very special person. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I used to work with Mike at JJK&A back in the 90's, and I remember him to be a very friendly guy, who always enjoyed a good joke. We has this running thing in my dept (Transport Sales) where when he walked by, someone at random could be heard singing "Mike Svoboda!" to the tune of The Knack's"My Sharona". It never failed to get a chuckle out of him....and us. My deepest condolences to the entire Svoboda family.

I worked at JJ Keller for 6 years and in that time I found Mike to be so helpful. He was a great guy and always had time for your questions. He had a quite disposition and was highly respected. May he rest in peace.

As I write this I know that no one else will be calling me "Sweetie Pie". That's what my Uncle Mike always called me. I will miss his long hard hugs. I will miss his sounds he made when eating, like hmmmm. That's when you knew that he loved what he was eating. I will miss our long talks and his support and love that he always gave me. Uncle Mike left a mark in my life and I hope to one day meet him again. God Bless you Amy. With love, Debbie

Rest in peace Mike. I will always remember our long talks about the old days in Milwaukee. Always enjoyed your fun and sarcastic personality. You will be greatly missed.
