Condolence & Memory Journal

Nancy was such an inspirational person. After searching in vain for a suitable hardware replacement for an early 18th century piece I was restoring, I spoke with Nancy who pulled out all the stops to help me solve my problem. She knew customer service! This was the first of many interactions and we spoke on the phone for far longer than a typical hardware transaction should take. Over the years I learned of her lovely family and she of mine. She was so happy to be moving back to Wisconsin to move her business and be with family. Her personal touch inspires me to this day to help others solve life's little issues and perhaps put a smile on someone's face.

I was so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. She and I only knew each other over the phone, through her Londonderry Brasses business. I always looked forward to speaking with Nancy - she was so kind, positive, and just a sweet person to get to know. I feel lucky to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her kids and family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear that Nancy has died. She was my friend and neighbor for 26 years. I watched her kids grow up. Lydia, Jacob, Peter and Melanie, hold tight to memories for comfort. All my love. The video was great!!

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I regret that I just found out about it today. I had not spoken with her since late winter and at that point she was cheerful- as she always was, and optimistic- as she always was!
My best wishes to you- her family

I met Nancy (I called her Mave) at the polling place in PA where we were both working. Had some of her delicious cookies and our friendship flourished from there.

So proud of her children she was. Her conversations usually began with the most recent exploits that Lydia, Jacob, Peter and Mel had experienced. Although she was anguished over leaving them so early into their young adulthood, Nancy was ever confident that her kids would go on and honor her memory by living their lives richly and without regret.

I will miss her witty repartee, her knowledge of history, and her intense love of friends and family.

I was so sorry to hear about Nancy. When we met during your visit last year I was struck by her "spunk" and vitality. She was obviously a bright and forward-thinking person. I know this is a terrible loss to all of you and want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Hugs all around do help! I have a luncheon Sunday, but will try to stop before the service.

Nancy was such a sweetheart. I know she will be missed by her children and siblings. It certainly was a trip down memory lane watching the video. For the family, please take care of each other and share many hugs,

It is so difficult to say goodbye to a loved one. May you be comforted by your cherished memories of Nancy and by each other. Something tells me she is continuing to shed light and send you strength from the other side. I'm thinking of her standing in the golden light of that Maxfield Parrish painting she so proudly hung in her new abode. Blessings.
