I remember Mike fondly. He cared for his students, and for the staff and faculty at UWFOX with whom he worked. His joy of playing good music was infectious to those of us fortunate enough to share the stage (or flatbed truck) with him.
The smiles of Mike and Beth lit up any room, and their passion for doing good is an inspiration. We are better for Mike having shared his life with us.

Mike was such a great man and had an infectious laugh. He helped our family so much with diabetes. Our daughter at age 7 was diagnosed with diabetes because Mike kept saying you should have her checked. Our sympathy to your family especially Beth your soul mate. Mike always lived life to the fullest and will be so missed. Our tradition of house to house will not be the same with out playing games with you. My girls enjoyed coming and bringing their little girls to see you. Blessings Todd and Pam Christianson.

Mike was such a man of integrity. His care for his students was so obvious. I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with Mike. My sympathies go to his family!

Dear Sweet Beth,
I am so sad to hear about the loss of your Mike. Mike was a wonderful teammate. He always made me feel welcome, valued, and respected. He also brought a lot of fun to the office - often starting impromptu trivia games and telling jokes that made us groan.

I keep telling people that you are two of the very best people I know - both so kind, generous of heart, and positive through any adversity. The world is a better place because Mike was, and you are, in it. I know you have many close, wonderful friends, but please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything at all that I can do.
Love you both, Therese
