Don was employed by Kimberly Clark Corporation, Neenah Lakeview Mill and retired in 1985 after 43 years of service. As a young man, Don played baseball with the Menasha Falcons and umpired for the Wisconsin Dairyland League. He enjoyed baseball, golf, the Packers, collecting coins, watching comedians on television, and time spent at home sitting on the porch and listening to polka music. Don is survived by his six children, Donna Thiel of Neenah, Victoria (Timothy) Bolz of Menasha, Terence Winarski of Menasha, Scott (Mary) Winarski of Menasha, Paula (Kirk Arps) Winarski of Kaukauna, and Lisa Winnett of Menasha. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Tekla Winarski of Madison and Kajja (Josh) Wagner of Fox Crossing, and his great-grandchildren, Mason, Aubrey, and Carsen Wagner, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Don is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) his sister Gertrude Vanden Boom and his brothers Robert, Marvin and Erwin, and Eugene Winarski.
