Kay L. (Becker) Heroux, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, age 70 of Menasha, died unexpectedly Friday, March 17th, 2017 at her home. Kay was born March 2nd, 1947 in Appleton to Roman J. and Lucille (Crowe) Becker. Kay graduated from Xavier High School in 1965 and then attended Fox Valley Technical College. After technical college, Kay worked at Central Paper Company in Menasha where she met and married Tom Heroux in 1968. Kay and Tom had 2 children, Julie A. (Heroux) Wysocky, Friendship, Wisconsin and Chad T. Heroux, Victoria, Minnesota. Kay is survived by Tom, her husband of 48 years, her children, Julie Wysocky (Steve Van Etten, fiancé) and Chad Heroux (Lisa Thompson-Heroux), grandchildren Dylan & Molly Wysocky, Addison Heroux, Tyler, Hanna, & Kiki Thompson, her 3 sisters, Lois (Earl) Kahler, JoAnn (Jim) Urban, and Judy (Bill) Prink, brother-in-law Mike (Pat) Heroux, sisters-in-law Sue (Mike) Bombinski and Jean (Ralph) Sitzberger as well as 16 nieces and nephews, 33 great nieces and nephews and many friends. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Lucille Becker, mother and father-in-law Ann and Laurence "Red" Heroux. Kay was loved by all who knew her kind and caring ways, including those she met in her time as a substitute secretary in the Menasha Joint School District. When she wasn't working, Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and planning family events, following her grandkids in their extra-curricular events, sewing with her sisters, spending time with her Bible study group, and getting together with and playing games with friends. She will be so dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace and continue to watch over all her family and friends. She will forever have a place in our hearts. There will be a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street in Menasha, with Rev. Paul Paider officiating.
